Liquidity on the 2 listed exchanges continued to remain at a high level of over VND 7,000 billion. Foreign investors' trade was negative as foreign investors continued to net sell strongly with a value of approximately 130 billion VND on the whole market.
According to analysts from MBS, the stock market surpassed the peak of 910 points this week, making profit-taking pressure increase. Some investors buy on according to technical signals while others will take profits gradually when there is new demand entering the market. In the last 3 sessions of the week, profit-taking pressure was somewhat overwhelming and caused the market to decline in 2 sessions.
“However, the fluctuation of the market in the down sessions is relatively narrow and the liquidity remains high, which is a positive sign. Therefore, the declining sessions were purely due to profit-taking pressure rather than the international market ”, said the company report.
